  1. Each participant will receive a white chip (or bib tag on the race bib).
  2. Each team will receive a Velcro strap with an integrated timing system that will be passed on during each relay.
  3. EXAMPLE: Runner B arrives at the aid station in Cala Morell, passes over the timing mat with their chip and the Velcro strap (individual and team). They give the team Velcro strap to Runner C, and the latter passes over the timing mat again with their chip and the Velcro (individual and team).

Distance changes will be permitted for all races until April 1, 2026. The management cost will be €10.

  • If the participant wishes to take part in a longer distance, in addition to the cost of the distance change management fees, they will have to pay the price difference of the distance.
  • If the participant wishes to take part in a shorter distance, they will have to pay the cost of the management fees, and the difference in amounts will only be refunded for requests received before April 1, 2026.

Cancellations will only be accepted for registered participants who communicate it before April 1, 2026 to the email info@elitechip.net. The refund will be 75% of the amount paid for the registration. After this date, there will be no more economic refunds. In the event that the race has to be suspended, cancelled, or cannot be held due to external factors inherent to the organization, such as orange or red alert for meteorological reasons, health reasons, pandemics, denial of authorizations, or emergency services being unable to cover the race due to other serious emergencies (like a fire, a collapse) , or the route of the GR-221 cannot be used due to a forest fire (i.e., impassable due to fallen trees, floods or meteorological reasons) or any other incident for which the organization is not directly responsible, the organization reserves the right to modify routes, cancel sections, or simply cancel the race, without the right to any compensation or refund of the registration fees by the organization to the registered participants. However, the organization will try to offer the best alternatives in extreme and highly improbable cases like those exposed.

In the TMST-120 and MTMST-70 distances, athletes may receive external assistance from one person at all official aid stations. This person must be identified with the “SUPPORTER” race bib that will be provided with the runner’s race bib.

For the MTMMaraton Travesía Mallorca and the MMTM Medio Maratón Travesía Mallorca, no type of external assistance is permitted.

It is also not permitted in any of the races to run accompanied by people outside the competition as pacers, either on foot or by bicycle.

The only exception is receiving help in case of an emergency medical condition.

Runners of the Travesía Mallorca Serra de Tramontana 120 may drop off the “drop bag” at the start that they will find at the Sóller aid station (approx. km 47) and finally at the Esporles aid station (approx. km 86). Afterwards, they will be returned to the finish line.

Runners of the Media Travesía Mallorca Serra de Tramontana 70 may drop off the “drop bag” at the start that they will find at the Esporles aid station (approx. km 36). Afterwards, they will be returned to the finish line.

If the participant is not federated by the FEDERACIO DE MONTAÑA Y ESCALADA, they must purchase a mandatory one-day medical insurance for 8 euros for all races. FEDERATION OF ATHLETICS FEDERATIVE LICENSES ARE NOT VALID according to article 5.3 of decree 33/2004 which regulates the sports federations of the Balearic Islands.

In case you cannot collect the race bib within the established hours, and always under justified causes, there are two ways to do so:

  1. Send an accredited person to represent you. This person must provide:

• A request via email to web@elitechip.net asking for collection by an authorized person. (The maximum deadline to request this option will end on April 1, 2025 at 23:59 h) .

• Digital photocopy of the original ID/DNI of the runner who owns the race bib.

• Proof of registration which can only be downloaded by the participant who owns the race bib through the Elitechip APP.

• In the case of collecting race bibs for runners federated by the FEDERACIÓN DE MONTAÑA Y ESCALADA FEDME, a photocopy or a photo of the license must be presented. In case the corresponding accrediting license is not presented, the competition insurance must be paid (€8 for 120KM, 70KM, 45KM or 22KM).
